Artistic Director Kenny Leon and True Colors Theatre Company presents the Southeastern premiere of Exit Strategy written by Ike Holter and directed by John Dillon, running February 21 - March 19, 2017 at Fulton County's Southwest Arts Center's Performance Theater.  

The Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. announced winners for the 2015-2016 Atlanta professional theatrical season last night, November 7, 2016, at the 12th annual awards ceremony held at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts and Community Center.

The Suzi Bass Awards revealed nominations for the 2015-2016 Atlanta professional theatre season on Monday evening, September 12, to patrons and industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party was generously hosted by the Alliance Theatre, at 6:30pm in The Circle Room, on the third floor, 1280 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Georgia, 30309. 

n's True Colors Theatre presents the first community conversation of its 2016-2017 season on combating the mental health stigma in the African American Community. The conversation reflects on themes in True Colors' season opening production, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning drama "Proof," a play about mental illness and the family bond.

Presenters included local favorite performers Denise Arribas, Tiffany Porter, Gina Rickicki, Clifton Guterman, Kevin Harry, Jeremiah Parker Hobbs, Chris Kayser, and Topher Payne.

This evening, Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. revealed nominations for the 2014-2015 Atlanta professional theatrical season. The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by Horizon Theatre. Guest announcers included the ladies of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project: Kelly Criss, Veronika Duerr, Jaclyn Hofmann, Tiffany Porter, and Megan Rose.

Hilarity will ensue in this side-splitting tale of an unexpected and unforgettable family reunion! A frenzied portrayal of sibling rivalry, Christopher Durang's award-winning Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike plays the Aurora Theatre, October 1-25, as part of the 20th Anniversary Peach State Federal Credit Union Signature Series! A co-production with Horizon Theatre Company, this humorous plays takes a look into the rollercoaster of emotions derived from being a part of a 'celebrity' family while poking fun at the generational gap between Generation X and millennials.

Rehearsals are underway for the Alliance's upcoming production of the classic 1960s drama, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, by Dale Wasserman and based on the novel by Ken Kesey. The Alliance's production, directed by Susan V. Booth (Blues for an Alabama Sky, The Geller Girls, August: Osage County), will feature some of Atlanta's most talented and well-respected actors in one of the largest ensembles of the 2015/16 season.
