The Douglas Morrisson Theatre continues its 2013-2014 season with James & the Giant Peach, Roald Dahl's Fantasy Adventure for Children dramatized by Richard R. George. Directed by the Dawn Monique Williams, the play features an ensemble of local performers: Janelle Aguirre, Jordan Battle, Rebecca Fox, Don Hardwick, Amir Hasan, Travis Himebaugh, Carlos Joachin, Danny Martin, Joe Metheny and Belgica Rodriguez.

Evans, Bay Area playwright Scott Munson's sparkling new adaptation of the 118 year old play in a modern setting features an ensemble of local performers: Myers Clark as Roosevelt, Teddy Spencer as Thomas Goring, Daria Hepps as Laura Chiltern, Craig Souza as Robert Chiltern, Cynthia Lagodzinski as Rosalind Cheveley, Brooke Silva as Tammy Chiltern, Kendall Tieck as Governor Goring, Celia Maurice as Mrs. Markby, Alicia von Kugelgen as Mrs. Marchmont, Beebe Reisman as Mrs. Basildon and Tina Rutsch as Ambassador Nanjac.

The Douglas Morrisson Theatre continues its 2013-2014 season of mystery and romance with "110 in the Shade" by N. Richard Nash, music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones. Directed by Nancy McCullough Engle, the former Artistic Director of DMT, "110 in the Shade" features Melissa Reinertson as Lizzie Curry, Reg Clay as Starbuck, David Bauer as File, Avi Jacobson as H.C. Curry, Danny Martin as Noah Curry, James Koponen as Jimmie Curry and Emma Mercier as Snookie. Filled with achingly beautiful melodies and dynamic dance numbers, "110 in the Shade" is a heartfelt musical romance about one woman's learning to believe in herself. The show runs Nov. 14- Dec. 8, 2013.

Kerry Degman has been cast as Terry Sullivan, the lead role in the post-Afghanistan family drama, The Five Sullivans, that is being produced by Douglas Lowell 's Grandiosity Films and Paul Martin.
