The team behind ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, coming to Broadway in Fall 2017, has just announced it will be holding an open casting call in New York City later this month.

Broadway Dreams kicked off their #ComeTogether Summer Intensive Tour yesterday at RWS Studios in Long Island City. For one week, 100 students worked with top Broadway professionals, including Jenn Colella, Christopher J. Hanke, Erin Dilly, Telsey + Co casting directors Rachel Hoffman and Criag Burns, Alex Newell, Quentin Earl Darrington and more. Scroll down for photos!

MCC Theater has announced the extension by popular demand of The End of Longing, a new play written by and starring Matthew Perry in his NYC playwriting and stage acting debuts.

Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director, Casey Reitz, Executive Director) has announced complete casting for its upcoming New York premiere production of Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award and Olivier Award winner Bruce Norris' play, A PARALLELOGRAM, directed by current Tony nominee Michael Greif.

Tickets are on sale now for the national touring production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien. This lavish new production will make its West Palm Beach premiere May 9-14 at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts as part of a North American tour. 

The new musical, ANASTASIA, dances into Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) tonight, April 24, 2017, produced by Stage Entertainment, Bill Taylor (Sister Act, Rocky), Tom Kirdahy (It's Only A Play, The Visit) and Hunter Arnold (Kinky Boots, Spring Awakening). Cirque du Soleil Theatrical's smash production of Paramour, the organization's first show created specifically for Broadway begins its final two weeks. There are only 16 performances remaining to see Broadway's high-flying spectacle before the final credits roll on April 16.

MCC Theater today announced complete casting for the American Premiere of the play The End of Longing, a new play written by and starring 'Friends' star Matthew Perry in his NYC playwriting and stage acting debuts.

Cirque du Soleil Theatrical's smash production of Cirque du Soleil Paramour, the organization's first created specifically for Broadway begins its final six weeks on Broadway. As previously announced, Paramour is playing through April 16, 2017 at the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that J. Harrison Ghee, currently earning rave reviews across the country as Lola in the National Tour of Kinky Boots, will strut onto Broadway this Spring, joining the Broadway production beginning March 6, 2017.

Producers David Stone and Marc Platt today announced complete casting for the upcoming Broadway musical, WAR PAINT.

As previously announced, the critically acclaimed Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof will end its run on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00PM. This revival will have played a total of 463 performances when it gives its final bow. Just confirmed, a National Tour is planned beginning in the fall of 2018.

The National Tour of The King and I, which won a Tony Award for Best Revival in 2015, is opened at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles last night, and will play through January 21st, 2017. Stars of the stage and screen, including original cast members of one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most beloved classics, came out in droves to celebrate the opening, and we've got all of the lovely red carpet photos below!

Four-time Tony Award Nominee Judy Kuhn(Fun Home, She Loves Me, Chess, Les Miserables) joins the cast of Fiddler on the Roof as Golde beginning tonight, Tuesday, November 22nd and will play through the show's final performance on Saturday, December 31st at 2:00 pm.  She takes over the role from Jessica Hecht whose final performance was on Sunday, November 20th.
