BWW speaks to Elliot Steel about bringing Near Life Experience to the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Local master illusionist David Caserta, star of the State Theatre's annual Halloween spectacular Haunted Illusions, is scheduled to appear on the hit TV show PENN & TELLER: FOOL US today, July 20th at 8 PM on the CW network.

Ian Anthony Dale, Meaghan Rath and Beulah Koale are set to join the cast of HAWAII FIVE-0, which begins its eighth season Friday, Sept. 29 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

A&E Network will premiere a brand-new season of the hit reality series WAHLBURGERS ' as it celebrates its 75th episode milestone. The new season will continue to chronicle the lives of Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg, along with matriarch Alma as they juggle life, careers and their rapidly expanding burger empire.

Due to overwhelming demand, the critically-acclaimed IN & OF ITSELF - created and performed by three-time Academy of Magical Arts Award winner Derek DelGaudio (Nothing to Hide) and directed by four-time Emmy Award winner Frank Oz (Little Shop of Horrors, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Star Wars) - has announced that 200 more gold bricks will vanish, 200 more elephants will appear on stage, 200 more people will be kicked out of the show, and 30,000 more identities will be revealed, at the Daryl Roth Theatre in Union Square. With a second extension to the hit show's New York Premiere engagement, IN & OF ITSELF will now play through December 30, 2017 - effectively quadrupling its original ten-week run.

The group portrait of the youngsters (The Woman's younger self, her partners in crime Zabby and Skinny Lynny, the callow young men who pursue them or whom they pursue, and The Woman's big sister, aka The Favorite) in all their confusion, pain, and, most important, their exuberance and their desire to meet life head-on, even if they do not really know what that meeting will demand or entail, is the point.

Central City Opera's 2017 Summer Festival, which runs from July 8 through August 6, features Bizet's Carmen and Mozart's Così fan tutte performed in repertory in the historic Central City Opera House, and three one-act operas with limited runs—Britten's The Burning Fiery Furnace, Douglas Moore's Gallantry, and Amy Beach's Cabildo—performed in smaller venues located around the town of Central City. Complementing these five widely different operas are pre-performance lectures and talkbacks, staged opera scenes, elegant opening night dinners, and post-performance socials, which make for a full and enriching experience of entertainment and culture in one of Colorado's most historic mountain settings.

This new musical chronicles a fictitious rivalry between playwright brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom who, at the advice of a fortune teller, create the world's first musical in order to compete with William Shakespeare. Hurlbert portrays the romantic, literature-loving Portia, who becomes Nigel's love interest.
