Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere production of LoveMusik will begin performances tonight, Thursday, April 12, in anticipation of a Thursday, May 3 opening
Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, artistic director; Barry Grove, executive producer) is pleased to announce full casting for the world premiere of LoveMusik, a new musical featuring the songs of Kurt Weill, starring Tony Awardâ winners Michael Cerveris and Donna Murphy.
Douglas Carter Beane's new play The Little Dog Laughed will close following the matinee performance on Sunday, February 18. The acclaimed Broadway comedy, which is currently the only new American play to have opened on Broadway this season, features Tom Everett Scott, Julie White, Johnny Galecki, and Ari Graynor.
Tony winning actress Judy Kaye will return to her Broadway Triumph, SOUVENIR, A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins, by Stephen Temperley, for a limited engagement Thursday, October 12 to Sunday, November 12 at the Brentwood Theatre.
The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director), in association with Ted Snowdon, will open its 36th season with the world premiere of Souvenir, a play with music starring Tony Award-winner Judy Kaye and noted Broadway conductor Jack Lee, on Friday, November 19 at the Company's home at Saint Peter's, Citigroup Center, 619 Lexington Avenue (at 54th Street). Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, December 1; the play continues through Sunday, January 2, 2005.
