Mitch Albom will host an evening of entertainment and storytelling to benefit S.A.Y Detroit and the launch of his newest novel “The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto” at the Fox Theatre on Sunday, November 8 at 7 p.m. The event will be a mix of performances and conversations between Albom and a wildly impressive line-up of music-related guests including Earl Klugh, Ted Nugent, Michael Bolton, JK Simmons (Oscar winner for 'Whiplash) jazz guitar star John Pizzarelli, Phredley Brown (musical director for Bruno Mars), Roger McGuinn (founding member of the Byrds) and local musicians Olivia Millerschin and Vito Lafata, as well as others. Tracii Guns and Doug Aldrich will return to the stage in “Raiding the Rock Vault” at The New Tropicana Las Vegas. The guitar icons, who have each performed with the show for extended periods since its 2013 debut, will return to the show for select performances, with Guns taking the stage in October and Aldrich following in November.

“Raiding the Rock Vault” will welcome to the stage former Dio guitarist Rowan Robertson. Robertson will perform alongside lead guitarist Howard Leese in the acclaimed rock and roll production at The New Tropicana Las Vegas beginning Wednesday, August 19. Tickets are now on sale.

"Raiding the Rock Vault" has announced "Gimme Shelter" -- a fundraising initiative to support Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), Las Vegas' only no-kill shelter for animals who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, or otherwise face homelessness and danger.

"Raiding the Rock Vault" is Hot For Teacher. The hit show, which was recently awarded the coveted "Best of Las Vegas" title by Las Vegas Review-Journal readers for the second year in a row, will offer complimentary tickets to teachers in May in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Month.
