After 11 months of endless speculation, it is finally the night of the show! Tonight at 8:00pm ET, NBC's PETER PAN LIVE! will continue the holiday tradition begun last year with THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE! By now, any theatre fan worth his or her salt knows that Allison Williams (HBO's GIRLS) will star as the eponymous boy who won't grow up, and Christopher Walken (every movie ever) will play his nemesis, Captain Hook. The stars will be joined by Broadway favorites Christian Borle (LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER) and Kelli O'Hara (SOUTH PACIFIC, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY).

Last year, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron brought The Sound of Music starring country star (and former American Idol winner) Carrie Underwood in the leading role of Maria live to millions of people across the country. With this live performance featuring Broadway vets like Christian Borle and Laura Benanti in supporting roles, America was exposed to a small taste of what happens eight times a week on Broadway. To some, The Sound of Music Live was their first big exposure to the magic and wonder of Broadway, perhaps leading young viewers to bigger and grander things.

With Thanksgiving now past, we are less than one week away from the television event of the season, at least for musical theatre fans, PETER PAN LIVE!. As anyone who reads BroadwayWorld or watches NBC knows, PETER PAN LIVE! is the follow up to last year's enormously successful THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE!. Allison Williams (GIRLS) will play the boy who wouldn't grow up, while legendary actor Christopher Walken will play the scourge of the seven seas, Captain Hook. Also in the company are Tony winner Christian Borle (Mr. Darling and Mr. Smee), five-time Tony nominee Kelly O'Hara, Broadway's Taylor Louderman, and an ensemble full of some of the theatre's best young talent.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will welcome five original programming producers: Scott Coulter, Shoshana Feinstein, Brandon Ivie, Benjamin Rauhala, and T. Oliver Reid. In their new capacity, the five producers have been commissioned to create a variety of shows including musicals in concert, songwriter celebrations, reunion concerts, and more.

The holiday musical event PETER PAN LIVE will premiere on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on NBC, starring Allison Williams as the boy who refuses to grow up and Christopher Walken as the villainous Captain Hook.
