NBC's Willie Geist will serve as host for the United States Olympic Committee's inaugural Best of U.S. Awards Show supported by USG, which will honor outstanding U.S. performances from the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and air tonight, April 7 on NBCSN from 7-8 p.m. ET. In addition, figure skaters and commentators Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski will host red carpet coverage, as more than 200 members of Team USA arrive at the Warner Theatre for the live taping on April 2. E!'s “Fashion Police” will salute the fashion-forward men and women of professional sports with a three week celebration called “Fash Fabness.” From the basketball court, to the soccer field, to the golf course and beyond, professional athletes are more than team members these days; they are trendsetters in their own right who are designing their own clothing lines, showing up on red carpets and looking good doing it. For three consecutive Fridays beginning March 14th, “Fashion Police” will celebrate one of the biggest events in sports as only they can with specially themed “Fash Fabness” episodes starting at 9pm ET/PT only on E!

Canada's 1-0 victory over Team USA in Friday's Olympic men's hockey semifinal (Noon-2:30 p.m. ET/9 a.m-11:30 a.m. PT) posted a 2.7 household rating/8 share to rank as the highest-rated hockey game in NBCSN history, according to live plus same day fast national data released today by The Nielsen Company. Team USA-Canada topped the previous best NBCSN hockey rating – 2.6 for last Saturday's thrilling Team USA victory over Russia in an eight-round shootout -- and also exceeds the rating for any Stanley Cup Playoffs and Stanley Cup Finals games in the network's history.
MTV today announced its second “Retromania” theme week, “Retromania: Team USA,” that will celebrate the Olympic spirit with current and former Team USA athletes revisiting and remixing some of their favorite music, movie, TV and cultural moments from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s.
