Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of Peter Pan (A Play), adapted from the books by J.M. Barrie and directed by Amanda Dehnert. The production runs October 20 - December 12, 2010 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.

Lynch Theater at John Jay College presents a reading of The Master Forger, by David Wiener as part of First Throws, the theater's unique playwriting salon that presents new plays exploring issues of justice from an artistic perspective, on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 7pm at the Gerald W. No one ever said marriage was easy, as Donald Margulies's Pulitzer Prize-winning Dinner With Friends reveals. Dinner With Friends plays the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab August 25 through September 26. In addition, Olney offers several special performances that include sign interpretation, audio description, and post-show discussions.

It's 1927 and Ma Rainey, the Mother of the Blues, strides into a rundown Chicago recording studio to join a battling quartet of musicians. The great playwright August Wilson places this formidable artist at the center of a captivating drama of flamboyant personalities, professional jealousy, and shattered dreams. Directed by Lou Bellamy, MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM plays in Tucson at the Temple of Music and Art from October 16 through November 6. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from November 11 through November 28. The Tucson media sponsors for the 2010-2011 season are KGUN9, MIX-FM and Tucson Lifestyle. The Los Angeles premiere of K2, written by Patrick Meyers and directed by Damen Scranton, will play two lower-priced previews at the Underground Theater in Hollywood on Thursday, October 7 and Friday, October 8 at 8pm, and opening is set for Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 8pm. K2 will play a strictly limited engagement through Sunday, November 14.
