The music & lyrics of Bobby Cronin in Los Angeles is a one-night only all new concert of ASCAP winning composer/writer Bobby Cronin's music. On Thursday May 27th at Barre on Vermont, the concert will feature songs written for Bobby's numerous projects in the works; THE BEATEN PATH, TIL DEATH DO US PART, CATY BRIDGEWATER, The Untitled Project, and (UN)LUCKY IN LOVE. The concert will feature Cronin on the piano for a night of rockin' uptempos, passionate ballads, comedic tunes, and honest anthems.

PARADIGM presents a program including two World Premieres on May 26 and 27, 2010 at 7:30pm at the NYU/Tisch School of the Arts, 111 Second Avenue, Fifth Floor Theater. Tickets are $20 (students $15) and are available by phone at 212-998-1982.

The week includes CD Releases from Judith Berkson, Pete Francis, and Lauren Kinhan, solo shows from Sean Bradford and Brendan James, along with other performers. Ticket prices range from $12 to $20.

Center for Contemporary Opera (CCO), a celebrated arts organization dedicated to the creation and performance of contemporary American opera, closes its 27th season with a groundbreaking world premiere presentation of John Eaton's opera The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on June 15, 2010 at Symphony Space. The opera opens the annual American Composers Alliance Festival.

Symphony Space will present the 29th annual Bloomsday on Broadway, a reading from James Joyce's classic novel Ulysses, on Wednesday, June 16 starting at 7:00 p.m. This year's event, devoted to tracing the parallels between Ulysses and Homer's Odyssey, on which the novel is modeled, features readings from a selection of passages from both works.

The Peter Norton Symphony Space in Manhattan presents Lisle Atkinson's Neo Bass Ensemble on June 11. The ensemble features Lisle Atkinson (Founder/Principal Soloist), NEO-BASS ENSEMBLE (NBE) Core: An inner core 'bass choir '(*Lisle Atkinson, Founder, Karen Anduze Atkinson (Co-Founder), Phillip Wadkins, Darnell 'Jay' Starkes, Sam McPherson, Paul West), Marsha Perry Starkes (African perc/vocals, Janet Steele (vocs.), Richard Wyands (p), and Richard Allen (d). In the center of the New York City Theater District, acclaimed Broadway set designer Christine Jones publicly debuts 'Theatre for One', a four foot by nine foot portable theater with one performer playing to one audience member. The uniquely intimate theatrical experience will be available to anyone on a first-come, first-served basis which will end its showing May 23, 2010 in Times Square.

In honor of Margaret Wise Brown's 100th Birthday, GPR Records (Glen Roven, Peter Fitzgerald, Richard Cohen, artistic directors) will release a live recording of the concert based on Brown's two best selling children's books Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny.

On May 20-22 Symphony Space will present Americans: Who Are We?, the latest installment of The Thalia Follies: A Political Cabaret, now in its sixth hilarious season.

TAKE Dance, a contemporary dance ensemble known for its effortless fusion of Eastern and Western sensibilities led by artistic director and choreographer Takehiro Ueyama, presents two programs exploring poetic and visceral human connections to nature. All performances will feature the World Premiere of Flight, set to music by artists including Ana Milosavljevic, Terry Riley, Aleksandra Vrebalov, Philip Glass, Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto, and choreographed by Takehiro Ueyama.
