FINDING NEVERLAND has welcomed its new leading man! Tony Award nominee Tony Yazbeck (On The Town) recently took over the role of Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie in the smash hit, record-breaking Broadway musical. BroadwayWorld recently stopped by the the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre to check in with Yazbeck about the role and while we were there, he gave us a tour of his new dressing room!
According to the New York Post, current LES MISERABLES star Alfie Boe, who departs that show at the end of February, has his next gig lined up. The paper reports he 'will be stepping into the starring role of "Finding Neverland," ... Boe will play "Peter Pan" creator J.M. Barrie, replacing Tony Yazbeck, and he will then open the show in London's West End in January of next year.' No official announcement has yet been made.
