The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director), and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, present the New York premiere of the new musical, Paris Through the Window, with book & lyrics by Charles Osborne and music by Leo Hurley; and with book, lyrics and music by Ryan Scott Oliver for two performances only on September 9 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.

Theatre Aspen's new play development series is underway, with the early workshopping of Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater musical Alice By Heart, based on the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland this Saturday, May 31st, at the Wheeler Opera House at 7:30 pm. Sheik and Sater are best known for their 2007 rock musical Spring Awakening which won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Score.

Casting is complete for award-winning Theatre Aspen's 31st season. Several Broadway notables make up the company, some starring in multiple roles this season which includes the musical comedy The Full Monty (opening June 24th), the musical Little Women (opening July 2nd), and a brand new comedy by Sandy Rustin called The Cottage (opening July 24th).

FIRST DATE, which opened on August 8, 2013 at Broadway's Longacre Theatre, plays its final performance today, Sunday, January 5, 2014, at 3pm, having played 34 previews and 174 regular performances. First Date, starring Zachary Levi and Krysta Rodriguez, began performances on Broadway on July 9, 2013, and has a book by Austin Winsberg, music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner, direction by Bill Berry, musical staging by Josh Rhodes, orchestrations by August Eriksmoen, and musical supervision, vocal and incidental arrangements by Dominick Amendum.

On November 24th at 9:30pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in 'Half Hour 4: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Operation Smile. Zachary Levi is a longtime supporter and Smile Ambassador for the organization, which provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe. Though the cabaret is nearly sold out, tickets are $35 each and can be purchased at 54BELOW.com.

The original Broadway cast recording of FIRST DATE, the critically acclaimed new musical comedy starring Zachary Levi and Krysta Rodriguez, with music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner, will be released digitally and exclusively available at the Longacre Theatre today, September 24, 2013.
