Global film and television studio Miramax today announced the production of the psychological thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax and has cast Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey, The Fall) to star in the film with Alexandre Aja (Horns, The Hills Have Eyes, High Tension) to direct.

Jessica Lange was the recipient of the 2014 Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Lead Actress In A Miniseries Or A Movie' for her role on FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN. This marks Lange's third Emmy win, the first for HBO's GREY GARDENS, and also for 'AHS.'

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today An Evening with Alfonso Cuarón, on Thursday, February 13. The evening will include the Oscar-nominated director in person to present a screening of his latest award-winning and 10-time Oscar-nominated film Gravity, immediately followed by a conversation and then a screening of his 2006 critically acclaimed film Children of Men. Lange will play Wahlberg's mother, who will take on the role originally made famous by James Caan. The film follows 'a college professor whose gambling addiction takes over his life even after his debts lead to some nasty new friends.'

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jessica Lange expanded on her reasons for leaving American Horror Story following the show's fourth season on FX. Lange has been a leading player on AHS since its first season in 2011.
