As previously reported, Roundabout Theatre Company recently announced a new block of tickets now on-sale through April 29th, 2012 for their Tony-winning production of Anything Goes. It was originally scheduled to run through Sunday, July 31st, 2011. The production currently stars 2011 Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as 'Reno Sweeney' and Tony and Academy Award winner Joel Grey as 'Moonface Martin,' and is directed and choreographed by 2011 Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. Recently, BroadwayWorld checked in with the production to scope out the backstage scene. Houston's Theatre Under the Stars' (TUTS) season opens with an uninspiring production of Guys and Dolls plagued by lackluster performances by two of the show's leads. However, gorgeous male harmonies and a brilliant performance by Jennifer Cody as Miss Adelaide elevate the production.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the full cast of the New York premiere of Stephen Karam's new play Sons of the Prophet, directed by Peter DuBois. The cast will feature Yusef Bulos (Bill), Jonathan Louis Dent (Vin), Santino Fontana (Joseph), Joanna Gleason (Gloria), Lizbeth Mackay (Mrs. McAndrew), Dee Nelson (Dr. Manor), Chris Perfetti (Charles), Charles Socarides (Timothy).

The New York Musical Theatre Festival, Steven Cunningham with associate producer John Von Herget present the world premiere of JUST LIKE MAGIC Christopher T. Magician's Zany Magical Musical Extravaganza!!! with music by Ryan Mercy, lyrics by Christopher W. Barnes and book by Mr. Barnes and Cameron Cole and directed by Elizabeth Lucas, as a special event in the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival at TBG Theater (312 West 36th Street) in Manhattan, with performances on Friday, Oct. 7 at 8:00pm; Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10:30pm and Thursday, Oct. 13 at 8:00pm. Associate producer for JUST LIKE MAGIC is John Von Herget.

Director Kathleen Marshall and stars Sutton Foster, Joel Grey, Colin Donnell, Adam Godley and Laura Osnes will perform classics from the show and greet fans. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Broadway favorite Sutton Foster is set to star in a new pilot on ABC Family titled, Bunheads. Foster will star as Michelle, 'a Las Vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man and moves to his sleepy coastal town, taking a role at her mother-in-law's dance school.'
