Sarah Drew, Calista Flockhart, Stacy Keach, Amy Madigan, Jean Smart, Matthew Rhys, Joanne Whalley and JoBeth Williams are among the stars set to record 10 plays as part of L.A. Theatre Works' 2011-12 season. Beginning this September, L.A. Theatre Works' acclaimed 'The Play's The Thing' radio theater series moves to the James Bridges Theater on the campus of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. There, each performance will be recorded in front of a live audience for future radio broadcast.

Theatre Works led by the University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and co-commissioned by the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland, Stanford Lively Arts at Stanford University, and the Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond, wraps up a two-month, ten-city national tour with five performances at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles March 17-21.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo, L.A. Theatre Works (LATW) Producing Director Susan Loewenberg, Affinity Collaborative Theater founding members John Dias, Sheila Schwartz, and Diane Morrison have announced that a special panel discussion series held in conjunction with the production of Top Secret: The Battle for the Pentagon Papers, will feature a panel with Daniel Ellsberg, the former Defense and State Department official who gave the Pentagon Papers to the Washington Post, on Tuesday, March 16 at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery.
