In addition to directing and photographing the film, Fricke wrote the screen treatment with Magidson, who also produced. SAMSARA which was the number one per screen average film in the USA when it opened on August 31, 2012, has now exceeded $2m box office on a theatrical release covering the entire country, becoming Oscilloscope's most successful release to date. The film will be available on VOD beginning January 8th, 2013.

Freestyle Digital Media LLC (FDM) has acquired the rights to MUNGER ROAD, a tension filled suspense-thriller from Insomnia Productions that will debut on DVD, Digital Download and Video On-Demand. The film was written and directed by Nicholas Smith, produced by Kyle Heller and stars Bruce Davison ("X-Men," "Luck"). Last year, MUNGER ROAD was released theatrically by Freestyle Releasing in the Chicago area to a remarkable $30,000 plus per screen average. The film is slated for release today, September 11th.

Freestyle Releasing announced today that they have acquired all U.S. rights to FUNERAL KINGS, the charming, critically acclaimed comedy that was written, produced and directed by brothers Kevin McManus and Matthew McManus. The film was executive produced by Andrew van den Houten (''The Woman," "In the Family") and stars Dylan Hartigan ("The Black Donnellys"), Alex Maizus, Jordan Puzzo, and Charles Odei ("The Good Wife"). FUNERAL KINGS debuted as an official selection at this year's SXSW Film Festival and is slated for a fall release.

Freestyle Digital Media announced today that they have acquired all DVD and cable and internet VOD rights to DEADLINE, a fact-based mystery-thriller from director Curt Hahn ("No Regrets") that is based on a script by novelist Mark Ethridge. Starring Steve Talley ("Love Bites"), Academy Award-nominee Eric Roberts ("Runaway Train"), Anna Felix ("Crazy Heart") and Lauren Jenkins ("Tough Trade"), the film, which was produced by Hahn and Molly M. Mayeux ("I Will Follow"), is slated for a release on July 17th.

Based on Joe Coomer's acclaimed novel The Loop, the film stars Jackson Hurst ("Drop Dead Diva") and Rachel Nichols ("Conan the Barbarian"), and is from an adaptation by screenwriter Roger Towne. Produced by Steven Tabakin and Margaret Whitton, and executive produced by Warren Spector, the film will debut on April 10, 2012. A BIRD OF THE AIR was theatrically released in the USA by Paladin in the fall of 2011.

BAD GIRL ISLAND is a supernatural thriller about murder, temptation and mystical forces on an exotic island in the Bermuda triangle starring veteran actor James Brolin (Catch Me If You Can, Amityville Horror), Antonio Sabato Jr. (The Big Hit, "General Hospital") and AnnaLynne McCord ("90210", The Haunting of Molly Hartley).
