Grease, featuring book, music and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, opened on Broadway on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, and BroadwayWorld caught all the excitement!

The new cast of Broadway's Grease revival went into the recording studios yesterday, August 16 to record the up-coming cast album, set to release on October 2. The album will be on the Masterworks Broadway label.

BroadwayWorld begins a three part video series introducing you to the cast of GREASE. In this first part, Matthew Saldivar (Kenickie) introduces the Thunderbirds...and Eugene. Tomorrow, August 16th, the new cast album of Broadway's Grease revival will be recorded for an October 2nd release date.
