Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story, an upcoming new musical based on the life and songs of legendary songwriter Bert Berns. Produced by Merged Work Productions (lead producers) and Jack Thomas (Executive Producer), the show began rehearsals today, and begins previews at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center tonight, June 25, 2014, with an official opening night set for July 21, 2014.

The Colony Theatre is thrilled to present the first production of its historic 40thAnniversary season, the World Premiere of FAMILY PLANNING by Michelle Kholos Brooks. The production stars Christina Pickles and Bruce Weitz, who between them have a combined total of 14 Emmy nominations, and is directed by Cameron Watson, who has been heralded as "one of our finest contemporary directors" by The Los Angeles Times, while The Wall Street Journal declared his work "the best in the country."

Adam Lowe Theatrical and New York Musical Theatre Festival will present the US premiere of the Australian hit musical, Oprahfication. Oprahfication is written by and stars awarding winning performer Rachel Dunham with an original score by Shanon D. Whitelock and directed by Dirk Hoult. Beginning performances on July 17, the show will run through July 24 at Ford Foundation Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street). Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE) Chicago's only Equity theatre devoted to the work of women theatre artists, and Artistic Director Tara Mallen are proud to announce the extension of the Chicago premiere of Courtney Baron's Eat Your Heart Out, directed by Hallie Gordon, through July 12 at Rivendell's performance venue, 5779 N. Ridge Ave. The performance schedule is Wednesday - Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 4 and 8 p.m. Please note: there are no performances Friday, July 4 or Saturday, July 5.
