King Center and Brevard Music Group announce a second concert in their Studio Theatre series for HOTEL CALIFORNIA A SALUTE TO THE EAGLES on Sunday, October 19 at 3pm.

The Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) announces its 2014-15 Season, filled with classic comedies and challenging, engaging new work. The 2014-15 Season is full of characters in search of their identity. Their journeys explore the dramatic moments and decisions that allow for self-discovery.

The Berkshire Playwrights Lab, continues its 2014 season of readings of innovative and exciting new plays with a presentation of Jennifer Maisel's Out of Orbit at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center (14 Castle Street, Great Barrington, MA) tonight, July 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Everyman Theatre began rehearsals today for the 2014/15 season opener, The Understudy. Theresa Rebeck's comedic look into the backstage world of show biz runs from August 27th through September 28th. The three-person cast features Everyman Resident Company Members Clinton Brandhagen, Danny Gavigan and Beth Hylton. Joseph W. Ritsch makes his Everyman directorial debut with the production.

The Community Theatre of Little Rock will open its 59th Season with our Late Summer production 'A Series of One Acts'. The night's offering will include '30 Minutes to Charlie' by Nick Zagone, 'Pvt. Wars' by James McLure, 'Ways and Means' by Noel Coward and 'The Actor's Nightmare' by Christopher Durang. Show dates are August 22nd and 23rd at 7:30 pm and August 24th at 2 pm, to be held at our new home, The Studio Theatre, 320 West 7th Street.

New Repertory Theatre announces the final show of the 30th Anniversary Season, the Next Rep World Premiere: SCENES FROM AN ADULTERY by Ronan Noone, June 6 through June 21, 2015 at the Boston University Theatre, Lane-Comley Studio 210. SCENES FROM AN ADULTERY is co-presented with Boston Center for American Performance (BCAP).

The Stratford Festival will present Linda Gaboriau's remarkable new translation of Michel Marc Bouchard's Christina, The Girl King. Written by one of Quebec's most celebrated playwrights, and directed by Vanessa Porteous, Artistic Director of Alberta Theatre Projects, the play makes its English language premiere at Stratford's Studio Theatre. Previews begin tonight, July 29, and the production officially opens on Thursday, August 14.

Nick Gehlfuss (Shameless, The Newsroom), Shawn Hatosy (Southland, Reckless), Amber Tamblyn (Joan of Arcadia, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) and Alicia Witt (Justified, 88 Minutes) are cast in the Geffen Playhouse production of Reasons to Be Pretty, nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play (2009). Helmed by Geffen Playhouse Artistic Director Randall Arney, Reasons to Be Pretty will be performed in the Gil Cates Theater today, July 29 to August 31 with an opening night of August 6.

Queens Theatre presents its 17th Annual LATINO CULTURAL FESTIVAL, Extraordinary Women, Illuminated. The six-day celebration of Latin culture is one of Queens Theatre's signature events, featuring theatre, music, dance and children's programming by the premiere Latina artists.

Fells Point Corner Theatre's next production is from the Baltimore Playwrights Festival. UNDER THE POPLAR TREES, written by Rosemary Frisino Toohey and directed by Miriam Bazensky, opens on August 14th and will run until August 31, 2014.

The Warner Stage Company's Main Stage Musical Season continues today, July 26th at 7:30 pm with the opening night of Peter Pan.

The National New Play Network (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, in collaboration with the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and Stanford University's National Center for New Plays, will host nearly fifty playwrights, directors and dramaturgs today, July 26 - August 3, 2014 as part of a week-long workshop for new works by MFA students from New York University-Tisch School of the Arts, Hunter College, University of California-San Diego, and the Juilliard School.

In BAD WITH MONEY he charts his sometimes hilarious, sometimes harrowing struggle to overcome his problem-or get rich trying. Written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark, BAD WITH MONEY premieres at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue) from September 4 through November 6.

Obie Award-winning actor/playwright Dael Orlandersmith returns to Weston for a limited run of Stoop Stories, a one-act drama that is powerful, intelligent and completely captivating. In the play, the Harlem native embodies a half-a-dozen characters - from an 81-year old Holocaust survivor recounting a chance encounter with Billy Holiday to a 13-year old Latina who succumbs to a sexy young gang member - united over the course of time by a ubiquitous city stoop. The show runs for just 10 days from today, July 24 - August 3 at the Weston Rod and Gun Club.
