Happy Birthday Stockard Channing! In 1971, she made her Broadway debut in Two Gentlemen of Verona - The Musical, working with playwright John Guare. She also appeared on Broadway in 1973 in a supporting role in No Hard Feelings. In 1978, at the age of 33, she took on the role of high school teenager Betty Rizzo in the hit musical Grease. Additional Broadway credits include: They're Playing Our Song, A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, The House of Blue Leaves, Six Degrees of Separation, Woman in Mind, Four Baboons Adoring the Sun, and The Lion in Winter. She is currently starrign on Broadway in Other Desert Cities at the Booth Theatre.

Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that the smash hit Broadway comedy It's Only a Play, which opened on Broadway on October 9, 2014, has extended its run through Sunday, June 7, 2015. Originally announced as a limited engagement through January 4th, It's Only a Play was recently extended through March 29th at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street), where it will now play through June 7th. Tickets are now on sale for all performances. The Colony Theatre will present the fourth production of its historic 40th Anniversary season, the West Coast Premiere of THE ROAD TO APPOMATTOX by Catherine Bush, directed by Brian Shnipper. THE ROAD TO APPOMATTOX will preview on Wednesday, February 11; Thursday, February 12; and Friday, February 13 at 8:00pm. It will open on Saturday, February 14 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, March 15.
