York Theatre Company Sets Special Performance of TUNE IN TIME for Tomorrow

By popular demand, The York Theatre Company, and producing partners Amy Engelhardt and Heather Shields, have added a special performance of the acclaimed new game show for musical theater lovers Tune in Time. Hosted by Emily McNamara, with music direction by Nate Buccieri, and Sheila Head as the annoyingly insistent timekeeper, the special performance is set for TOMORROW, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. at The York Theatre Company's home at Saint Peters (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Westchester Broadway Theatre presents It Happened One Christmas Eve by Bob Fitzsimmons with original music & lyrics by Barbara Campbell and Steven Silverstein and musical arrangements by Steven Silverstein. Directed and choreographed by Jonathan Stahl with musical direction by Leo Carusone, the production runs December 4th - December 28th, 2014. The Laurie Beechman Theatre, at the West Bank Cafe, presents Travis Moser in This Can't Be Love: The Songs of Rodgers and Hart on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7pm. This Can't Be Love: The Songs of Rodgers and Hart celebrates one of the most prolific and legendary songwriting duos of all time. Travis Moser takes the audience on a journey through the Rodgers and Hart songbook, while offering backstage and personal stories about the songs and the shows from which they came. This Can't Be Love features new arrangements of some of Rodgers and Hart's most beloved songs by musical director Steven Silverstein.

Broadway's ANNIE Names Orphans!

After more than 5,000 auditions in a coast-to-coast search, ANNIE has announced casting for the orphans for the new production of the classic Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. ANNIE will open on Broadway in Fall 2012 at a Nederlander theatre to be announced. The production will be directed by three-time Tony Award winner James Lapine and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler.

Midtown International Theatre Festival Announces Eleventh Annual Season 7/12-8/1

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) announces the 2010 Season, running from July 12 - August 1, 2010. 24 plays and five musicals have been chosen. All tickets are $18. Selected plays for SHORT SUBJECTS, a division for plays that run under 60 minutes, will be announced at a later date.
