Tony Award Winner Kristin Chenoweth, who is currently developing a feature film based on the life of Dusty Springfield, told E! News back in April that she'd love to have Kerry Washington (currently starring in David Mamet's RACE on Broadway) play her lesbian lover in the film. E! caught up with Washington recently and she was delighted with the idea. She told E! 'It's very exciting. I feeling like I've been waiting to make out with her forever.'

One hundred and thirty years ago this week, the Napa Valley Opera House opened its doors for the first time.

Bernadette Peters devotes her time and talents to numerous events that benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Peters' 'pet project' is Broadway Barks, which she co-founded with friend Mary Tyler Moore, which is an annual, star-studded dog and cat adoption event presented each summer in Shubert Alley, benefiting over two dozen rescue shelters throughout the New York City area. She recently added author and songwriter to her roster of achievements with her debut children's book Broadway Barks which debuted on The New York Times Bestseller list.

Saturday Night Live will premieres a new holiday compilation, 'SNL Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas' on Thursday, December 17 from 8:00pm - 10:00pmET. This is SNL's first holiday special since 2002.

As previously announced, Broadway's James Barbour will present holiday concerts in New York City at Bill's 1890 Restaurant & Café from December 11-19 and in Los Angeles at the Colony Theatre on December 21. Meredith Patterson will be joining him on opening night, December 11, as his first guest.

Morecambe, the award-winning solo show in which Bob Golding portrays the late comedian Eric Morecambe, will play the West End's Duchess Theatre for a six-week run beginning Deccember 9. The show is penned by Tim Whitnall and directed by Guy Masterson. Tickets are now on sale.
