Picasso at the Lapin Agile opens for the press on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 and plays through Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

Steve Martin has offered to fund an off-campus production of his play 'Picasso at the Lapin Agile'. The play was banned from La Grande High School due to 'adult content'. According to NYtimes.com, 'The actor and comedian said in a letter to a newspaper that he wants to keep the play, conducted in other high schools without controversy, 'from acquiring a reputation it does not deserve.'

South Coast Repertory's Artistic Directors, David Emmes and Martin Benson, today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Richard Greenberg's Our Mother's Brief Affair, about two adult siblings who reunite to tend to their elderly mother and their astonishment to learn about her long-ago love affair.
