Buffalo's Irish Classical Theatre is doing what they so often do best- presenting a classic, like their current production of Oscar Wilde's AN IDEAL HUSBAND, with subtlety and care. Wilde is know for his comedies of manners and society, and in AN IDEAL HUSBAND we are treated to a delicate balance of marital discord and political subterfuge.

The performance schedule is September 4th - October 13th at MusicalFare Theatre, Wednesdays at 7:00pm, Thursdays at 7:00pm, Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 4:00pm and 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. There will be a special 'half-price preview' on Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00pm. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after all Wednesday performances EXCEPT opening night, September 4th.

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) has announced a new host venue for its summer schedule of public development readings of plays from the 2013 Emanuel Fried New Play Workshop (NPW). Beginning today, July 8th, the NPW will present five plays readings at PAUSA Art House, the recently opened cafe and performance venue located at 19 Wadsworth Street (at Allen). Readings will continue through Monday, August 19th; there will be no NPW readings on Monday, July 22nd and Monday, July 27th.
