The Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (BETC) was awarded the Boulder Arts Commission's Arts and Business Collaborative Grant on Wednesday evening, November 21, 2013. The $25,000 award was received for aproposed collaboration with Fiske Planetarium. These partnering organizations will create a 'Star Power Series' of immersive events incorporating state-of-the-art planetarium projection technology with live performance.

The BETC (Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company) is in it's eighth season, is kicking off their season with SEMINAR. The show is directed by Stephen Weitz, and began it's run yesterday, September 26th, with a preview. It opens tonight. The show will run Thursdays to Saturdays at 7:30 PM and a Sunday show at 4 PM at The Dairy Center for the Arts. Tickets can be found by calling 303-444-7328 or by going online to www.thedairy.org.

The Arvada Center in collaboration with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival (CSF) opens William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, or What You Will, a Comedy tonight, May 1, 2012. Colorado Shakespeare Festival's Producing Artistic Director, Philip C. Sneed, is directing the show. Twelfth Night will run in the intimate 220 seat Black Box Theater tonight, May 1 - 27. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30pm, Wednesday at 1:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm. Talkbacks will be offered Friday, May 11 after the 7:30pm show and Wednesday, May 16 after the 1:00pm show. Ticket prices range from $25 (previews) - $47 for prime seating.
