Music Director John Daly Goodwin has announced New York Choral Society's (NYCS) 53rd concert season.

The Minnesota Orchestra launches its 109th season-its ninth under Music Director Osmo Vänskä-with the world premiere of a major new work titled TimePiece, a cutting-edge composition for jazz soloists and orchestra co-written by acclaimed Minnesota-based composer Stephen Paulus and his son, 27-year-old professional trumpet player Greg Paulus

THE CELL and THE HIVE THEATRE COMPANY are pleased to announce the world premiere production of Terry Quinn's BAD EVIDENCE, directed by Kira Simring. BAD EVIDENCE will play a limited engagement at The Cell (338 West 23rd Street New York, NY 10011). BAD EVIDENCE will be playing in rep with MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, as part of the cell's Summer of Lust. Performances ends on Sunday, July 31.

New York Choral Society (NYCS) will close its? 52nd season with a performance of Antonín Dvo?ák?s powerful Stabat Mater on May 1, commemorating the death of the great composer on May 1,1904. The performance will feature acclaimed soprano Angela Meade, mezzo-soprano Tamara Mumford, tenor Yeghishe Manucharyan and bass-baritone Burak Bigili accompanied by the Brooklyn Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall at 2pm.

The esteemed chorus performs under the baton of NYCS Music Director John Daly Goodwin, alongside soprano Joyce El-Khoury, mezzo-soprano Marjorie Dix, tenor Michele Angelini and bass Brian Kontes.

The New York Choral Society(NYCS) will join the Opera Orchestra of New York (OONY) for its Fall Gala Concert at Carnegie Hall. Under the baton of the orchestra's new music director Alberto Veronesi, the concert features a star-studded double bill of Massenet's La Navarraise and Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana. The evening will feature accomplished tenor Roberto Alagna, distinguished soprano Maria Guleghina, and celebrated mezzo-sopranos El?na Garan?a and Mignon Dunn.
