El Portal Theatre presents An Evening With Danny Kaye starring Brian Childers, directed by Stephen Nachamie with musical direction by Jeffrey Beiring with special guest Bart Rockett. The New Year's Eve celebration is tonight, December 31, 2013, with two performances at 4pm & 9pm, at the historic El Portal Theatre Mainstage in the NOHO Arts District, North Hollywood, CA.

The Harbor Lights Theater Company, led by Executive Artistic Director Tamara Jenkins and Associate Artistic Director Jay Montgomery, is presenting It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, by Joe Landry, for the holiday season.

The Producer Circle. Co will present a concert reading of Kenneth Jones and Gerald Stocksill's NAUGHTY/NICE in benefit of the The New York Center For Children at Caroline's on Broadway on Dec. 3. The reading features musical direction by David Gardos and direction and staging by Stephen Nachamie. Alexandra Frohlinger, Timatha Kasten, Eric Michael Krop, and George Salazar will star, along with Emily Bindiger, Dennis Deal, Carolee Goodgold, and Jim Vincent.

The Provincetown Theatre in Provincetown, Massachusetts will host a week long workshop and subsequent reading of the new musical "Sybil" starring Liz Callaway (Baby, Miss Saigon) and Melissa van der Schyff (Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde and Big River).

Director Stephen Nachamie has taken great care to give Olney audiences as authentic an experience of the original show as possible and packed the cast with genuine Broadway gypsies. The results are joyful, invigorating and touching, right down to the mis-steps and mistakes (carefully choreographed, mind you) that add the all-important element of spontaneity, the illusion that you're watching a crew of dancers desperate for work, willing to do anything to land the gig.
