Buffalo native, Broadway actor and film star Stephen McKinley Henderson will be the guest of honor at a Saturday, April 30, 2011 special event hosted by Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP). The April 30th event, An Evening with Stephen McKinley Henderson, will feature an intimate look into Henderson's life and work. Henderson also will attend the RLTP Annual Spring Gala on Saturday, May 14, 2011.

Road Less Traveled Productions unveiled its WNY premiere production of Stephen Adly Guirgis' The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot on Friday, April 22, 2011. Guirgis, who is RLTP's 2011 American Theatre Master, will appear in person at the Road Less Traveled Theater on Saturday, May 14th to help celebrate RLTP's 2011 Spring Gala. Tony Award nominated actor Stephen McKinley Henderson, who starred in the 2005 Off-Broadway world premiere of the play, will also appear at the May 14th Gala, as well as at a special event, An Evening With Stephen McKinley Henderson, at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery on Saturday, April 30th.

Juilliard's Drama Division announced the complete schedule for its 2010-2011 season of fully-staged productions featuring students in their fourth and final year of acting training at Juilliard. This season's plays include Lorraine Hansberry's A RAISIN IN THE SUN, directed by Jade King Carroll, October 20-24; David Auburn's PROOF, directed by Harris Yulin, November 11-15; and Chekhov's THE SEAGULL, directed by Richard Feldman, December 9-13.

On Monday, September 13, The Actors Fund hosted a party for 'The Friends of The Lillian Booth Actors Home' at Gloria Crest, in Englewood, NJ, the former estate of film legend Gloria Swanson and now the home of the evening's hosts Jan and Edward Turen. The Turens welcomed Tony Award-winning actor Brian Stokes Mitchell, and the evening's entertainment host Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth. Emmy and Tony Award winner Leslie Uggams, Tony Award-nominated actor/singer Tom Wopat and singer-songwriter-pianist Peter Cincotti and his band, among others performed. Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) has announced that playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis will be the company's American Theatre Master for 2011.

The first Broadway revival of August Wilson's 1987 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play FENCES, which won the 2010 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play, broke the box office record for the seventh time in its final week of performances at the Cort Theatre for the week ending July 11, 2010, grossing $1,175,625.94.

Two shows, FENCES and EVERYDAY RAPTURE will play their final performances on Broadway on Sunday, July 11 - both closing at the end of planned limited runs.

The first Broadway revival of August Wilson's 1987 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play FENCES, which won the 2010 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play, will play its final performance this Sunday, July 11, ending its record-breaking limited run at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, NYC).
