Twenty eight years after its debut, one of the most successful plays in West End history returns to Scarborough where it all began.

Full casting is announced for Green Day's explosive award-winning Broadway musical American Idiot as it blasts into the UK from 17 July, at The Arts Theatre, Leicester Square. The full cast are Luke Baker (Theo), Natasha Barnes (Heather), Alexis Gerred (Tunny), Llandyll Gove (Gerard), Raquel Jones (Extraordinary girl), Natasha Karp (Alysha) Robyn Mellor (Libby), Lucas Rush (St. Jimmy), Steve Rushton (Will), Aaron Sidwell (Johnny) and Ross William Wild (Joshua). They join the previously announced X Factor star, Amelia Lily who is playing Whatshername.

Stephen Joseph Theatre Artistic Director Chris Monks has announced he is leaving the company on 11 December, 2015.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has announced full casting for Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, which begins rehearsals today, Monday 11 May. Celebrated as one of the most important plays of the nineteenth century, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have commissioned a new version by Torben Betts to mark the 120th Anniversary of Chekhov's original play. The Seagull will run at the iconic theatre from 19 June - 11 July.

NEVILLE'S ISLAND is a fish out of water story about four guys trying to bond and survive on a corporate team building excursion gone awry. Strong performances from Jim Loutzenhiser, Alexander Platt, Brooks Reeves, and Brandon Whitehead can't rescue them from playwright Tim Firth's overlong comedy trying to be a psychological thriller.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre will conclude its 48th season with Richard Bean's internationally acclaimed One Man, Two Guvnors, a sassy update of Carlo Goldoni's classic knee-slapper, The Servant of Two Masters. Set in 1963 Brighton, England, One Man, Two Guvnors is a brilliantly delicious mash-up of splendid comedy, British pantomime, and music-hall revues. The uproarious plot features a disarming and doltish Francis Henshall who finds himself trapped by farce into working for two bosses - who are connected in wildly improbable ways. He just has to keep them from discovering each other. Inspired insanity, high-low antics, and nimble wordplay ensue - all backed by live musicians paying homage to rockabilly and a certain Fab Four. Directed by David Ivers - artistic director of the Utah Shakespeare Festival - and with songs by Grant Olding, One Man, Two Guvnors is a riotous blast complete with a colorful cast of characters in a topsy-turvy world of love triangles and mistaken identities. It previews on Friday May 8, 2015, opens on Friday, May 15, 2015, and plays through Sunday June 21, 2015. Press night for One Man, Two Guvnors will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015. The world premiere of a new play specially created in response to the General Election by award-winning actor/director Chris New opens at the Finborough Theatre for a limited run of nine Sunday and Monday evening and Tuesday matinee performances from Sunday, 26 April 2015 - with a special extra performance on General Election day itself on Thursday, 7 May (Press Night: Monday, 27 April 2015 at 7.30pm).

Stoneham Theatre has announced its production of the critically-acclaimed dark comedy Neville's Island, by the multi-award-winning writer of Calendar Girls, Tim Firth. Performances run from April 9-26, 2015. Neville's Island premiered in 1992 at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in North Yorkshire, UK. In 1995, it was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy and won Best Play MEN Awards in 2006. It received its North American Premiere in New Mexico at Santa Fe Stages in 1996. Neville's Island was adapted for television in 1998, airing as a TV movie on the UK's ITV. Directed by Stoneham Theatre's Producing Artistic Director Weylin Symes, Neville's Island features an impressive island set, complete with water and a climbable tree, by Scenic Designer Chris Ostrom.

Following the opening of the UK premiere of Buyer and Cellar, The Menier Chocolate Factory announces the cast for the first London revival of Alan Ayckbourn's comedy thriller Communicating Doors.
