A major revival of Noel Coward's hilarious masterpiece, Private Lives will embark on a prior to the West End UK tour starring stage and screen stars Tom Chambers (Top Hat, Strictly Come Dancing) as the loveable and charming Elyot and Laura Rogers (Tipping The Velvet, An Ideal Husband) as the unconventional and vivacious Amanda, alongside Charlotte Ritchie (Call The Midwife, One Night in November) as Sybil and Richard Teverson (Downton Abbey) as Victor.

Dame Eileen Atkins is to receive The Gielgud Award for Excellence in the Dramatic Arts at the UK Theatre Awards 2015. The ceremony will take place on Sunday 18 October at London's historic Guildhall.

The production reunites Simon Armitage and Nick Bagnall after their recent collaborations on The Last Days of Troy and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Westport Country Playhouse will reunite audience favorites---playwright Alan Ayckbourn and director John Tillinger---and an ensemble of popular actors from prior Ayckbourn works at the Playhouse---in the comedy, 'Bedroom Farce,' playing August 25 through September 13. 'Bedroom Farce' received five Tony Award nominations, including Best Play, during its 1979 Broadway run.
This summer Alan Ayckbourn is reviving his 1974 play Confusions for the first time to mark the Stephen Joseph Theatre's 60th anniversary. Confusions premiered at the company's first home, the Library Theatre, Scarborough and has since become one of the most popular and studied new plays of the last 40 years.
