John Prine won “Artist of the Year” at last night's Americana Music Honors & Awards. This is Prine's third time receiving the prestigious award following previous wins in 2017 and 2005.  

Last week (week ending Sept. 7), THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT returned from a brief summer hiatus with an average of 3.45 million viewers and as the most-watched show in late night, according to Nielsen live plus 3-day ratings. THE LATE SHOW added +670,000 viewers (from 2.78m) in live plus 3-day lift from live plus same day ratings. With 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW improved its advantage over its nearest competition by +940,000 (vs. 2.51m) after leading by +430,000 with same day viewers (vs. 2.35m).

“Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations” all-new podcast features an exclusive interview with iconic designer Ralph Lauren, who recently celebrated his 50th Anniversary Collection at New York's Fashion Week. Part one of the interview is available on Wednesday, September 12, on Apple Podcasts (ApplePodcasts.com/OprahSuperSoul) and other podcast platforms. Part two will be available on Monday, September 17. The Kennedy Center today unveiled an all-star lineup and new producers for the 21st annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, which this year will celebrate Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Under the direction of the creative team from Done + Dusted, the Kennedy Center's new producing partner for the Mark Twain Prize, the cast will feature many of Louis-Dreyfus's admirers, friends, and collaborators, including Stephen Colbert, Bryan Cranston, Tina Fey, Ilana Glazer, Tony Hale, Abbi Jacobson, Keegan-Michael Key, Kumail Nanjiani, and Jerry Seinfeld. The live Gala Performance will take place on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. ET in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall, and will be taped by WETA Washington, D.C.
