“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has delivered its top-rated week since June, to grab the late-night ratings win for the week of Aug. 13-17 over its ABC-CBS timeslot competition in the key demographic of adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34 and adults 25-54, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC won Monday night among the Big 4 networks for the third time in four weeks. Note: The NBC station in Baltimore carried NFL preseason football.

NBC wins Wednesday night among the Big 4 networks by a +33% margin in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.9 for #2 Fox) and by more than +2.8 million persons or +74% in total viewers (6.7 million vs. 3.8 million for #2 CBS).

Last night's THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT with special guest Senator Bernie Sanders hit a 2.7 metered market household rating, making it the highest-rated episode of the show in over two months (since June 13). THE LATE SHOW beat “The Tonight Show” by +1.2 ratings points (versus 1.5, +80%…the largest margin of victory for THE LATE SHOW over “Tonight” since April 17).

NBC ranks #1 Tuesday night versus the Big 4 competition in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key measure, winning six of six half-hours in adults 18-49.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has claimed the late-night ratings week of Aug. 6-10 over its ABC-CBS timeslot competition in adults 18-49, 18-34 and 25-54 demos, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

During the week of Aug. 6, 2018, ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” grew for the 2nd consecutive week in Total Viewers (+6% - 1.906 million vs. 1.805 million) and Adults 18-49 (+9% - 509,000 vs. 466,000) to 9-week highs – since an NBA Finals-led week in June (w/o 6/4/18). In fact, excluding June's NBA Finals weeks, “Kimmel” delivered its strongest performance since mid-April among Adults 18-49 – since the week of 4/16/18.

NBC was #1 in total viewers (4.9 million) against the Big 4 networks and tied for #1 in 18-49 (1.0/4). This was NBC's first Monday win in 18-49, or being tied for #1 (excluding sports programming) since May 14.

On Monday night, Nicki Minaj appeared as a guest on THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT. While on the show, Minaj adds to the long list of men she disses in 'Barbie Dreams' from her new album 'Queen': Stephen Colbert.

Producer Rick Murray welcomes comedian Paula Poundstone back to Provincetown for one performance only, Today, August 11 at 8:00 p.m. at Town Hall Auditorium.
