Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Entertainment News Program HOLLYWOOD TODAY LIVE Premieres Nationwide Today

Media General, Inc. ('Media General' or the 'Company'; NYSE: MEG), one of the nation's largest connected-screen media companies, and FOX Television Stations, Inc. ('FOX Television Stations') announced today that 'Hollywood Today LIVE,' a one-hour, daily entertainment news and talk variety show, will debut coast-to-coast beginning today, September 14.

Neil Labute & More Added to MCC Theater's Playlabs Reading Series

MCC THEATER has announced the 2015 PlayLabs reading series, which will feature new works in development by playwrights MCC Playwright in Residence Neil LaBute, MCC Theater Youth Company alum Ren Dara Santiago, and rising playwright Stephen Brown.  Readings will be held on September 21st, September 28th, and October 5th, as shown below, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street).  All readings are at 7pm.  Full casting will be announced at a later date.  Tickets on-sale now are $15, which include the post-reading reception.  For tickets and more info, please visit www.mcctheater.org.

The Public Theater today announced that NAATCO's acclaimed production of AWAKE AND SING! will extend its limited engagement until August 8th in The Public's Shiva Theater (425 Lafayette Street).

William Finn and More Set for 'PLAYING JEWISH AT THE NAATCO' Panel, 6/8 at The Public

Racial representation on the American stage is incongruous with the heterogeneity of the United States. For the past twenty-five years, NAATCO has responded to this challenge by producing European and American classics with all-Asian American casts. This panel, 'Playing Jewish at the National Asian American Theatre Company', examines the strategy behind, and the effectiveness of, NAATCO's mission through a case study of its productions of plays with all Jewish characters, including the upcoming remount of their production of AWAKE AND SING!

NAATCO's AWAKE AND SING! Set for The Public Theater in July

The Public Theater will present NAATCO's acclaimed production of AWAKE AND SING! this summer for a limited engagement beginning Monday, July 6. The National Asian American Theatre Company, under Artistic Producing Director Mia Katigbak and Associate Producer Peter Kim will kick off their 25th Season in residency at The Public with this classic Odets drama. The limited engagement in The Public's Shiva Theater (425 Lafayette Street) will run through Saturday, August 1 with an official press opening on Monday, July 13.

Ringling College of Art and Design president Dr. Larry R. Thompson and Wendy G. Surkis, president of the Sarasota Museum of Art/SMOA, a division of Ringling College, today announced that Anne-Marie Russell, Executive Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson (MOCA), has accepted the position of Executive Director for the Sarasota Museum of Art (SMOA). Anne-Marie begins with SMOA on May 1st, 2015.

IF/THEN's Ryann Redmond to Premiere First Solo Show at 54 Below, 2/16

Currently in Broadway's If/Then, Ryann Redmond brings her very first solo show, Ryann Redmond: Cry Me a River, to 54 Below! Ryann first broke onto the scene as Bridget in the Tony- nominated Bring It On the Musical, for which she received abundant critical acclaim.
