NYC Premiere of NACL's STRUCK Set for HERE, 12/5-21

NACL has announced the New York premiere of STRUCK, its new performance about neurology, the workings of the mind, and one woman's walk on the razor's-edge between life and death. STRUCK was co-created by NACL Artistic Director and actress Tannis Kowalchuk, who suffered a major stroke in 2011. In collaboration with fellow NACL actor Brett Keyser, neuroscientist Allison Waters, New York playwright Kristen Kosmas and Canadian director Ker Wells, STRUCK was created as a response to that close brush with mortality.

New York Live Arts announces the 2013 Theater Access Program - a comprehensive rental program that provides performance space and resources to a diverse group of self-producing artists of all disciplines. This year's artists include (in order of appearance) 10 Hairy Legs, Ellen Robbins, NuMoRune Collaborative, Makeda Thomas, Elisa Monte Dance and Jennifer Muller/The Works, Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre and Joseph Mills for Modern American Dance Company.

TACT Presents BROADWAY Benefit Concert at Scholastic Auditorium Tonight

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically-acclaimed company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary Season, will present the rarely seen 1926 crime drama Broadway, by Philip Dunning and George Abbott in a one-night only benefit concert performance at the Scholastic Auditorium (557 Broadway, NYC).

STAGE TUBE: Preview THE WINDOW's Site-Specific 4 ALICE, Now thru 5/29

The Romanian Cultural Institute in New York is proud to present this month the second installment of THE WINDOW, a site specific performance conceived as a Romanian-American collaboration with acclaimed US-based artists. The production plays from May 23 to 29. See The Window come alive again every 20 minutes between 8-10 pm. Admission is free.
