Atlantic Theater Company presents revivals of Ghost Stories: The Shawl and Prairie du Chien, two haunting short plays by Atlantic co-founder and Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet. Ghost Stories: The Shawl and Prairie du Chien began previews on May 27 and officially open tonight, June 16, for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 28 Off Broadway at Atlantic Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street).

INTAR continues its acclaimed 2014 - '15 season with SATYRICOÑO by Migdalia Cruz, a workshop presentation of a new play in development with actors from INTAR's UNIT 52 project, as well as guest artists Annie Henk, David Anzuelo, Bobby Plasencia, and Lisa Ramirez. There will be only three performances, which are open to the public: Friday, June 19th, Saturday June 20th, and Sunday June 21st.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company completes its 2014/15 Subscription Season with the Chicago premiere production of Grand Concourse, a play full of both humor and heart by Heidi Schreck and directed by ensemble member Yasen Peyankov. Grand Concourse begins previews July 2, 2015 (Opening night is July 12, 2015; Press performances are July 11 at 3pm and July 14 at 7:30pm) and runs through August 30, 2015 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St).

The New York Drama Critics' Circle previously named Between Riverside and Crazy, by Stephen Adly Guirgis, best play of the 2014-15 season. Hamilton was named best musical. The selections were made at the organization's 80th annual voting meeting, at the offices of Time Out New York in Manhattan. Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today the extension of The Herd, the debut play of Olivier Award-winning actor Rory Kinnear currently playing to critical acclaim in its U.S. premiere production in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre. In a four-star review, the Chicago Tribune raves, 'A family drama that sticks with you...this is Steppenwolf acting at its best' and The New York Times says, 'a buoyantly entertaining play [that] breathes with real, complicated life.' Directed by ensemble member and Tony Award-winning director Frank Galati, The Herd adds six additional performances, extending the run through June 14, 2015 with the original cast.
