Developing Artists, in a new partnership with Vineyard Theatre, brings its REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival to a new home at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15th St.) with performances Thursday, July 27th through Saturday, August 5th.

Triple ByPass Productions is excited to play in George F. Walker's world once again. To mount a play by a Canadian playwright at the Toronto Fringe is especially exciting for us! It's a great platform to introduce new people to Walker, and to put up one of his plays that is less often done for his already existing fans. The Gift Theatre is proud to announce Adithi Chandrashekar's Open Season as the first play chosen to pilot 4802-the new play research and development wing of The Gift named after its storefront address located on N Milwaukee Ave in Jefferson Park. Director Mara Stern and Chandrashekar will be given residency in the Gift Theatre's 40-seat storefront and provided with dedicated tailor-made time, space, and support for their work. The residency will take place over a span of 6 weeks and will be supported with a budget of $7,000.  Performances for Open Season are free and open to the public from September 15-17.

Cherry Lane Theatre's Founder's Project will celebrate 100 years of Horton Foote as they present, in a co-production with La Femme Theatre Productions, The Traveling Lady, directed by Austin Pendleton. The Traveling Lady will begin performances tonight, June 7, and will open on June 22 running through July 16, 2017 at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St.) in Greenwich Village.

The 1st Annual Logan Festival of Solo Performance, presented with generous support from the Reva & David Logan Foundation, will run at 1st Stage from July 6-16, 2017. Atlantic Theater Company has announced that the New York premiere play Animal by Clare Lizzimore (Mint) and directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch (Harper Regan, Bluebird) has been extended an additional week through Sunday, July 2 in advance of officially opening next Tuesday, June 6.

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce its newest member to its National Advisory Board, Pulitzer Prize-winning Playwright, Donald Margulies.  On Saturday May 6, the company welcomed its 2017 American Theatre Master, Donald Margulies, on the road less traveled.  The day began with a Q&A session with Mr. Margulies, moderated by RLTP Literary Director Jon Elston at the Road Less Traveled Theater. That evening, Mr. Margulies was guest of honor during a sold-out performance of The Country House.
