Closing their 2013-14 Season, HGO is presenting Georges Bizet's acclaimed CARMEN. For this production, Award winning Broadway Director and Choreographer Rob Ashford took the reins and has created a CARMEN that is as beautiful as it is exciting.

Luminario Ballet has been nominated for a World Dance Award in the Live Performance category for Judith FLEX Helle's 'Lift Ticket', which premiered at the Martha B Knoebel Dance Theater in April of 2011. If a play or the message of a play is important or affecting, as is the case with David Henry Hwang's "Yellow Face", currently playing at the Center House Theatre from React Theatre and Pork Filled Players, there is always the danger of the actors in the play to over intensify the work rather than letting it stand on its own. And while the current production at the Center House Theatre definitely has some wonderful moments and great laughs along for the ride, it unfortunately suffers from this problem as the message feels forced and long winded rather than meaningful.

Los Angeles based biker metal supergroup Angus Khan is unleashing its latest music video, this time for the song 'Silver and Green.' Taken from the hard rock band's debut album Black Leather Soul, the 'Silver and Green' video is a sci-fi trip through videogames and the L.A. underground scene. Directed by Pramin Phatiphong for Happy Pixel Studios, the clip stars Stephanie Kim as an alien who abducts Guitar Hero gamer Matt Arzepuleta and drags him through the city nightlife until they enter an Angus Khan concert packed with sweaty, rockin' fans and hot babes.
