San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP), has announced a special addition to its 2017-18 season, Nathan Gunn, FLYING SOLO, written and directed by Hershey Felder.

Impressionist Alan Palmer will perform his musical FABULOUS DIVAS OFHOLLYWOOD for two nights only, on Friday June 8 and Saturday, June 9 in the 85-seat Broadway theater. This outlandish, outrageous and out-and-out fun-filled show by the creative team behind the hit off-Broadway musical FABULOUS DIVAS OF BROADWAY parodies some of the biggest and best that Hollywood has to offer. With fast paced changes of beautiful costumes, wigs, thematic projections and a bevy of satirical songs, Alan Palmer's impressions remind us why we all love to go to the movies and adore the leading women who star in them.

Let Me Talk My Dreams introduces audiences to Margo, the real life Dallas-based theatre legend and innovator. This one-woman show weaves Margo's own words and those of her loved ones to illuminate her passion, humor, and tornado-like energy. This engaging and interactive experience will give audiences a dynamic account of how Jones shaped Dallas theatrical history, as well as the history of theatre in America, all while witnessing the private struggles she hid behind her invincible smile.

Stage West is pleased to announce the 9th annual Festival of the Kid performances, Monday through Wednesday May 7-May 9 in the Studio at Stage West.  This unique festival was originally conceived by Rob Bosquez, Jr. and Dana Schultes in 2009, and its first performance was presented in December of that year.  Their idea was simple: produce plays written by kids and use their peers as the performers.  Since that time, the Neighborhood Play Contest has drawn hundreds of entries, and has expanded to three days, with two performances each night.

Join The Gift Theatre for a line-up of local writers, actors and musicians at giftLit, an evening of stories, wine and entertainment in the grand tradition of a Parisian salon on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 8 pm at Community Tavern, 4038 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood. May giftLit writers include Maggie Andersen, Katherine Bourne, Sherman Edwards and Shaina Warfield. Stage West is pleased to present the 11th Annual New Play Readings Festival on Sunday, April 22, at Stage West, 821 W. Vickery in Fort Worth.  Featured will be Dust, by Nicole Oglesby, the winner of the 11th Southwest Playwriting Competition; in addition, the Festival will feature readings of new works by Mat Smart (who wrote our 38th Season closer, The Royal Society of Antarctica) and Janielle Kastner, who just appeared as Karla in A Funny Thing Happened….

The Grand Theatre is thrilled to announce a first-time collaboration with the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.), bringing A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS to the Spriet Stage. This acclaimed stage adaptation, based on the award-winning novel by Khaled Hosseini, had its world premiere in San Francisco in July 2016 and became the bestselling production in A.C.T.'s history. The Grand's production will premiere an all new, all Canadian cast with original staging by A.C.T. Artistic Director Carey Perloff. Two very different people thrown together in a hospital room where both their mothers are battling cancer--it's surely not the most auspicious first encounter. But after a hostile beginning, the two find they have some surprising common ground, in Halley Feiffer's outrageously funny, and ultimately touching, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. The play begins a 4-week regional premiere run at Stage West on Thursday, March 8.

The Segal Centre is proud to welcome back the delightful, talented and beloved Gabi Epstein for one night only on Tuesday, February 27, at 8 p.m. to perform her critically acclaimed cabaret Gabs Sings Babs: Gabi Epstein sings the songs of Barbra Streisand, as part of the Power Music Series.

Center Dance Ensemble brings two distinct programs to the Herberger Theater Center, a 1980s pop music version of Cinderella for a family matinee, and an exploration of the genius of Shakespeare in the evenings.
