BIG FISH World Premiere Will Offer $29 Student Tickets, 4/2-5

BIG FISH, a new musical based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the 2003 Columbia Pictures film written by John August, will offer $29 tickets to college students for its first four performances, April 2-5, 2013. Students will also be invited to attend a Q&A following the show with the cast and creative team members. 200 tickets per performance will be available at this special price when students use the code UNIVERSITY. Henk Kivits To Step Down as CEO of Stage Entertainment Group, July 31

Joop van den Ende and Henk Kivits have jointly agreed that Mr Kivits will step down as CEO of Stage Entertainment Group on 31 July 2013. Mr Kivits decided not to accept Joop van den Ende's offer to extend his contract as CEO of the international theatre company by an additional two years. Kivits has been CEO since 1 August 2007.

Michael Riedel reports that Simon Cowell is hard at work on THE X FACTOR MUSICAL, which just had an invitation only workshop in London last week, starring Alexander Hanson as the infamous reality show judge. The show, with a 16 million dollar budget is being co-produced by Cowell and Stage Entertainment, and features an original score by Steve Brown and a script by Harry Hill.
