Beastie Boys Adam "Adrock" Horovitz and Michael 'Mike D" Diamond can now add "bestselling authors" to their long list of bona fides. In the week following its October 30 release, Beastie Boys Book (Spiegel & Grau) has ascended to #1 on The New York Times Best Sellers List-topping both the Nonfiction Print Hardcover and Nonfiction Combined Print & E-Book Best Sellers charts. 

The “Beastie Boys Book,” an extremely detailed 600-page history of the group to be released Oct. 30, has a diverse and impressive roster of guest narrators for its audio edition: Snoop Dogg, Elvis Costello, Steve Buscemi, Rachel Maddow, Jon Stewart, Will Ferrell, Wanda Sykes, Public Enemy's Chuck D, Chloë Sevigny, Ben Stiller, Rev Run, New York 1 anchor Pat Kiernan, Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker, Kim Gordon, Spike Jonze, original Beasties drummer Kate Schellenbach and many more, including the group's two surviving members, Mike Diamond and Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz. Cofounder Adam “MCA” Yauch died from cancer in 2012.

Today, Sonos (Nasdaq: SONO) unveiled its exclusive collaboration with one of the most influential and iconoclastic artists in global music culture, Beastie Boys. This summer, Craft Recordings is set to relaunch a legendary group of hip-hop titles originally released between 1989 and 1995 on Delicious Vinyl, the Los Angeles-based classic label whose catalog of West Coast party rock and conscious rap still gets play on radio and at functions worldwide.
