Jacki Weaver Returns to Melbourne Theatre Company in June

Melbourne Theatre Company congratulates Jacki Weaver on today's Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Silver Linings Playbook. Melbourne audiences will be in for a treat when Australia welcomes Jacki Weaver back in June for her only stage appearance in 2013 for MTC's Solomon and Marion.

In an all-new episode of the ABC drama Once Upon a Time entitled 'The Outsider', Mr. Gold finds an unwilling test subject to see if a spell he has concocted will allow him to cross the border of Storybrooke - without losing his memory - and go in search of his son, Bae; Belle stumbles upon a vengeful Hook in the Storybrooke harbor whose main goal is to eradicate Rumplestiltskin; and Mary Margaret and David go house hunting in search of a bigger place to live. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Belle meets Mulan as the two set out to slay a fearsome beast called the Yaoguai, who has been ravaging the land. The episode airs Sunday, January 13th on ABC. Check out four new clips of the episode below!

Lehmann Maupin Gallery Presents Robin Rhode's First New York Exhibition

Lehmann Maupin Gallery is pleased to present Robin Rhode's first exhibition in New York in more than five years. It is also Rhode's debut solo show at Lehmann Maupin since joining the gallery earlier this year. The artist has taken over both New York galleries to present a two-part exhibition featuring a new series of street-based photographs and an educational wall drawing intervention with Time In, a local outreach program specializing in arts education for underprivileged school children. An artist book entitled Robin Rhode: Paries Pictus Activity Book accompanies the exhibitions. The artist will be present for opening receptions at both galleries on Thursday, 10 January from 6 to 9 PM.

Richard Thompson's New Album ELECTRIC Set for 2/5 Release

Grammy-nominated musician Richard Thompson returns with Electric, a guitar-driven set of 11 new songs, out February 5 on New West Records. That night, Thompson will play Joe's Pub in New York City in celebration of the release (info available at joespub.com). Named one of the "20 Greatest Guitarists" by Rolling Stone and declared "one of this world's most gifted songwriters" by American Songwriter, Thompson has garnered widespread praise over the course of his career.

No Country: Contemporary Art for South and Southeast Asia Opens at the Guggenheim on February 22

From February 22 through May 22, 2013, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York will present No Country: Contemporary Art for South and Southeast Asia, the inaugural exhibition of the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative. The exhibition features work by 22 artists and collectives representing some of the most compelling and innovative voices in South and Southeast Asia today. Focusing on the region's shifting spectrum of creative practices, the exhibition traces networks of intellectual exchange and influence, and considers the various impacts of ethno-nationalism, colonization, and globalization on national identity. The exhibition features painting, sculpture, photography, video, works on paper, and installation, the majority of which will be on view in the United States for the first time. All works have been newly acquired for the Guggenheim's collection under the auspices of the Guggenheim UBS MAP Purchase Fund. Following its presentation in New York, No Country is expected to travel to venues in Hong Kong and Singapore.

GLAAD's Ross Murray, Missi Pyle and More Set for BARE's TalkOUT Series, Now thru 1/31

The producers of the new musical Bare have announced the upcoming series of speakers for the January TalkOUT events. Audiences at select performances will be invited to stay after the show to participate in a discussion with some of the foremost leaders in the fight for LGBT equality. This month's special guests will include Ross Murray (GLAAD) with Missi Pyle (BARE's own 'Sister Joan'), Nathan Schaefer (Empire State Pride Agenda), Maggie Keenan-Bolger and Derrick Miller-Handley (The Point Foundation), Rabbi Michael Mellen, The Clementi Family (Tyler Clementi Foundation) and Taylor Trensch with Stafford Arima (BARE's 'Peter' and the show's director).
