Windsor And Rihanoff Lead BURN THE FLOOR At Shaftesbury Theatre From March!

Stars of television's Strictly Come Dancing Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanoff are set to bring fire and passion to THE SHAFTESBURY THEATRE, LONDON in the electrifying dance spectacular BURN THE FLOOR. This breathtaking live show, that totally reinvented Ballroom and Latin dancing, returns in a new production that will begin a limited season from Wednesday 6 March.

Joining Robin and Kristina will be Karen Hauer from Venezuela who was a principal dancer in Burn the Floor throughout 2010 and 2011. Karen recently starred in her first season of Strictly Come Dancing partnering Nicky Byrne. Completing the cast are Kevin Clifton (UK), ROBBIE KMETONI (Australia), JANETTE MANRARA (USA), KEOIKANTSE MOTSEPE (South Africa),GIULIA DOTTA (Italy), SHEM JACOBS (Poland), ASH-Leigh HuntER (Australia), Patrick Helm (Germany), Giselle Peacock (USA), Jack Chambers (Australia), NATASCHA DEJONG (Holland), SANTO COSTA (Italy), JEMMA ARMSTRONG(Australia), ALJAZ SKORJANEC (Slovenia), FAYE HUDDLESTON (UK), VONZELL SOLOMON (USA), Peter Saul (UK) and Joe Malone (USA).

Currently the world's leading ballroom dance show, having dazzled audiences in more than 300 cities worldwide, including its 2009/10 Broadway run, BURN THE FLOOR is considered the breeding ground for the future talent of both TV's Strictly Come Dancing and, worldwide, Dancing With The Stars.

In true Burn the Floor style, as the acknowledged leaders in the new Ballroom style, this re-envisioned West End production will feature new choreography, music and orchestrations, under pinning its claim to being the "Ultimate Ballroom Spectacular."

From Harlem's hot nights at The Savoy, where dances such as the Lindy, Foxtrot and Charleston were born, to the Latin Quarter where the Cha-Cha, Rumba and Salsa steamed up the stage, Burn the Floor takes audiences on a journey through the passionate drama of dance. The elegance of the Viennese Waltz, the exuberance of the Jive, the intensity of the Paso Doble - audiences will experience them all, as well as the Tango, Samba, Mambo, Quickstep, and Swing.

Robin Windsor has performed across the world, on Broadway and the West End in Burn the Floor and Floorplay since 2000. Robin partnered Lisa Riley and made the semi final of 2012's Strictly Come Dancing (previous partners were Anita Dobson and Patsy Kensit); together they captured the nation's hearts with their energetic and enthusiastic routines. His dance partner Kristina Rihanoff has starred in 5 seasons of Strictly Come Dancing where she has partnered John Sergeant, Joe Calzaghe, Goldie, Jason Donovan and Colin Salmon. In 2009 she jointly choreographed BBC3's Dancing on Wheels.

The dancers, who collectively hold more than 100 dance titles, move to the vision of artistic director and choreographer Jason Gilkison. A former World Champion Latin and Ballroom dancer, Jason Gilkison is also a guest choreographer and judge on So You Think You Can Dance, guest choreographer on Dancing with the Stars and joined Strictly Come Dancing as a guest choreographer in 2012.
