The cast of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is in the process of recording a live cast recording CD. This is the only CD of the show that will exist outside of the original Off-Broadway cast recording, and a lot of time and energy has gone into capturing on this CD the energy and party atmosphere of the live show. This weekend the attention of the CD engineers turns to the audience, who they'll be recording both Friday and Saturday to use on the CD.

The cast of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has been invited to participate in the upcoming Mondays Dark Event at Vinyl inside The Hard Rock Casino on Jan. 20. Mondays Dark is a monthly show, full of Las Vegas performers, that benefits a variety of charities in the area. The show starts at 8:30pm.

Off-Broadway's award-winning Irish Repertory Theatre proudly announced the extension of its critically-acclaimed revival of Sean O'Casey's JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK, directed by Irish Rep Artistic Director Charlotte Moore. With a cast that features, among others, J. Smith-Cameron as Juno Boyle, Ciaran O'Reilly as 'Captain' Jack Boyle, and John Keating as Joxer Daly, JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK will now be performed through Sunday, December 29th on the Francis J. The actors will be entertaining attendees and members of the public, hosting a costume contest, and giving out prizes on Thursday, October 24 from 9 to 11 p.m. at the Asylum and Hotel Fear Haunted Houses, located at Meadows Mall, 4300 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Las Vegas' only show with a Splatter Zone is stepping up its game for the Halloween season, and is adding an additional performance on Thursday, Halloween night, October 31st.

EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL announced today that Producer/Director and Las Vegas Zombie King Sirc Michaels will moderate a panel on Sunday, September 29th at the Las Vegas Comic Expo, featuring horror queen Linda Blair, best know for her starring role in THE EXORCIST. Linda Blair will be in attendance for the panel and will discuss her career in films and what is what like filming one of the most iconic horror movies of all time.

Las Vegas' most unlikely hit is once again helping out the community, this time by assisting in Opportunity Village's HalloVeen Events throughout the month of October. And they are hoping volunteers from the community to join them.

The Las Vegas Comic Expo, which runs Saturday 9/28 and Sunday 9/29, is proving to be an impressive affair, with guests the likes of Kristin Bauer from TRUE BLOOD, Giancarlo Esposito from BREAKING BAD, Lou Ferrigno from THE INCREDIBLE HULK, and Sylvester McCoy from DR. WHO and THE HOBBIT - not to mention the dozens of comic artists and creators who will be in attendance. Among these guests will also be Las Vegas' very own EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL. Ash and the Gang have been invited to join in the fun at Las Vegas' favorite comic convention. They will be taking pics with fans and other celebrities at their booth, giving away tickets to the show throughout the convention, presenting a panel on zombies in pop culture, selling convention-exclusive merchandise, and Sirc Michaels will even be helping to host the entire affair.
