Big Dance Week 2016, running from 2 to 10 July 2016, will be launched with a mass dance performance by hundreds of dancers in Trafalgar Square choreographed by Akram Khan on Saturday 2 July. This year's event is the final Big Dance, and celebrates a decade of festivals.
In an unprecedented exploration of lighting, sound and projection, Sadler's Wells presents the world premiere of NO BODY on June 7-12. Turning the theatre's building inside out, this multisensory installation experience brings together the essential elements of dance performance, but without the physical presence of dancers. The evening features specially commissioned works by the leading composers, lighting designers, filmmakers and other artists who bring dance to life.

'STILLED' will be performed by Robin Dingemans, Valentina Formenti, Sachi Kimura, and Petra Soor at Siobhan Davies Studios in London on Saturday March 17th between the hours of 1pm and 8pm; it is simultaneously an absorbing, durational dance piece and an exhibition of pinhole camera photographs which are taken of the performers in action and then exhibited throughout. The production is performed not only for a human audience, but also for an audience of pinhole cameras, all of which were designed and handmade by Fevered Sleep's visionary artistic director, David Harradine.
