Third Rail Projects' critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of THEN SHE FELL continues to take audiences down the rabbit hole through summer 2014. This immersive theater event is inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). It is written, directed, designed and choreographed by Zach Morris, Tom Pearson and Jennine Willett and in collaboration with The Company. Performances of this open-ended run take place at The Kingsland Ward at St. Johns, a century-old institutional building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that allows the action to play out on 3 floors. Tickets are currently on sale through August 31, 2014. Third Rail will also offer a series of May workshops that share the methods and tools used by the company to create new work.

The Wende Museum recently acquired a significant collection of early post-Soviet stock vouchers, privatization certificates, and Ponzi scheme coupons that dominated alternative currencies of the early 1990s in Russia. Vouchers and certificates, given to workers at the various factories and collectives as ownership shares, were bought or otherwise obtained by Russian businessmen who would be become known as The Oligarchs, including Mikhail Chernoi , Oleg Deripaska, Boris Berezovsky, and Roman Abramovich.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA has recently welcomed new cast members, who joine dthe cast on 3 September. New to the show are Marcus Lovett as 'The Phantom', Simon Thomas as 'Raoul', LAra Martins as 'Carlotta' and Anna O'Byrne as 'Christine' at certain performances. PHANTOM will continue to star Sofia Escobar as 'Christine', Cheryl McAvoy as 'Madame Giry', Jeremy Secomb as 'Piangi', Barry James as 'Monsieur Firmin', Gareth Snook as 'Monsieur André' and Anna Forbes as 'Meg Giry'.

According to a report by Michael Riedel of nypost.com, The Public Theater is already considering a Broadway transfer for the revival of INTO THE WOODS which plays the Delacorte in Central Park this Summer.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned that the hit open-air production of INTO THE WOODS that played London's Regent's Park Theatre in 2011 is now planning for a transfer to Central Part's Delacorte Theater as part of the Public Theater's Summer 2012 programming. Casting is said to be underway already for the role of 'The Witch' and that the producers are seeking a big name. Nothing officially has been announced on a possible transfer, as The Public is expecting to announce the 2012 summer season at the Delacorte sometime next month. The Public Theatre had no comment by press time.
