The theatre in the St. James Studio has announced its Winter 2013-14 events. Details below!

SAS productions present BLOODSHOT by Douglas Post, directed by Patrick Sandford and performed by Simon Slater. The play will be performed in the St. James Studio from Friday 03 January to Saturday 25 January 2014, with press night on Tuesday 07 January at 7pm. Lighting is by David W Kidd and the production was originally produced by The Nuffield Theatre, Southampton. Tickets go on sale on 22 November 2013 and a limited number of £10 tickets are available for the first five performances. These tickets must be booked by 08 December 2013.

The recent revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway mega-hit A CHORUS LINE in the West End closed short of its anticipated limited run earlier this month, yet the production lives on via the stories of its cast members in a fascinating and very meta new documentary on the production and its players, OFF THE LINE.

The Hampstead Thetare has unveiled its Autumn 2013 season, including HYSTERIA, directed by Terry Johnson and starring Antony Sher as Sigmund Freud. Edward Hall will also direct the world premiere of RAVING by Simon Paisley Day, with Tamzin Outhwaite leading the cast.

To celebrate the launch of The Dickens Legacy at the Gala Evening at London's Vaudeville Theatre, GREAT EXPECTATIONS will be screened live via satellite to more than 150 cinemas across the UK and Ireland, with a global cinema release including mainland Europe, Canada, USA, Asia and Australia.

Although it is Dickens' most popular novel and having previously had many incarnations, including as a film, a television drama and even a stage musical, this will be the first time there has ever been a production of GREAT EXPECTATIONS as a full-scale stage play in either the West End or on Broadway. The West End premiere of GREAT EXPECTATIONS will star Jack Ellis as Jaggers, Chris Ellison as Magwitch and Paula Wilcox as Miss Havisham. Paul Robinson has announced the full cast for his first production as sole Artistic Director of Battersea's Theatre503. Tony Award-winning actress Brid Brennan will star in Desolate Heaven, the world premiere by Irish writer Ailís Ní Ríain. She is joined by Evelyn Lockley and Carla Langley, who both make their professional debuts in this love story between two young girls, who burdened with unnatural responsibilities, run away together. It will run at Theatre503, above the Latchmere Pub in Battersea, from 5 February to 2 March 2013.
