This Christmas, The Watermill celebrates the 150th Anniversary of Lewis Carroll's much loved novel with a brand new stage adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, opening Thursday 19 November until Sunday 3 January 2016.

The UK Premiere of CARMEN DISRUPTION opens tonight 17 April at the Almeida Theatre. Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Birdland, Three Kingdoms) makes his Almeida debut with this dramatic reimagining of Bizet's Carmen. Michael Longhurst directs his first production at the Almeida following great acclaim in New York and London for Constellations by Nick Payne.

Casting is today announced for the UK Premiere of Carmen Disruption. Laurie Slade's acclaimed new version of August Strindberg's The Father is to be given its London premiere at Trafalgar Studios this March. Jagged Fence Productions in association with Making Productions will present the play, for which casting is also announced today. Directed by Abbey Wright, former Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse, Slade's contemporary adaptation of Strindberg's masterpiece will star Alex Ferns as the Captain. Manhattan Theatre Club announces the upcoming Sloan Panel Discussion on Constellations, which will be held following the Thursday, January 15 performance of the play at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street), and is open to anyone attending the evening's performance. The panel, which will be presented in partnership with the World Science Festival, will focus on the role of science in the play and will feature playwright Nick Payne and Brian Greene, professor of Physics and Mathematics at Columbia University and co-founder of the World Science Festival. Social commentator Faith Salie will moderate.
