Opening at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley, the tour will then visit Norwich, Cambridge, Salford, Leicester, Woking, Truro, Birmingham and Richmond, with further dates in 2017.

Tamara Harvey directs Ronke Adekoluejo (Jane Bennet), Leona Allen (Kitty Bennet), Matthew Aubrey (Mr Collins), Michele Austin (Mrs Bennet), Adam Buchanan (Mr Bingley), Grace Chilton (Mary Bennet), Nell Hudson (Lydia Bennet), Isabella Laughland (Elizabeth Bennet), Emma McDonald (Georgiana Darcy),Abigail McKern (Lady Catherine de Bourgh), James Northcote (Mr Darcy), Sam Parks (Sir William Lucas / Mr Reynolds), Royce Pierreson (Mr Wickham), Corinna Powlesland (Mrs Gardiner), Ruby Thomas (Caroline Bingley), Howard Ward (Mr Bennet) and Eleanor Yates (Charlotte Lucas). They will be joined by members of the Sheffield Peoples' Theatre to complete the company.
Continuing the company's tradition for dedicating seasons to playwrights whose work has influenced a generation, this year Sheffield will stage the complete works of the playwright Sarah Kane, with productions of Blasted, directed by Richard Wilson, and Crave and 4.48 Psychosis, directed by Charlotte Gwinner.

Award-winning children's author Michael Morpurgo has been pushed into the forefront since 2007 since his stage adaptation of War Horse was produced by the National Theatre to worldwide success. It is easy to forget that Morpurgo has written over 100 books for children since 1976; one of which is Private Peaceful, winner of the Blue Peter Book of the Year, showing at the Birmingham Rep Theatre this week.
