Audiences now have just six weeks left to see the RSC's critically acclaimed 2014 pairing of Love's Labour's Lost and Much Ado About Nothing (or Love's Labour's Won), having been charming audiences at Theatre Royal Haymarket.

RSC Artistic Director, Gregory Doran, announces today the winter 2017 season in Stratford-upon-Avon and reveals plans for RSC Next Generation, a new long-term talent development programme to give up to 100 young people each year from disadvantaged backgrounds the chance to develop a career in the theatre.

Music & Lyrics and West Yorkshire Playhouse have announced that Charlotte Wakefield in the role of Truly Scrumptious and Jos Vantyler in the role of the Childcatcher in the much-loved Sherman Brothers musical CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. It was no unlucky Friday the 13th for South Africa's theatre community when BroadwayWorld's Regional Managing Editor Christina Mancuso released the names of the of the winners of the 2016 BroadwayWorld South Africa Awards.

The Royal Shakespeare Company have burst back to the West End with their double bill of Love's Labour's - both Lost and Won. This pairing really is a remarkable achievement. Set in the summer of 1914 and the winter of 1918, director Christopher Luscombe has combined the charm and elegance of an Edwardian country estate with a wit, silliness and sense of play that would surely have made Will proud.

This is a highly exuberant and top quality production.

Summer is only eight weeks away but it will be raining on stage in the Festival Theatre when the hit West End stage production SINGIN' IN THE RAIN previews from 1 December in at the Festival Theatre for a limited pre-Christmas season. It will be the first time in almost fifteen years that a production of the show has been seen on the main stage in Adelaide. 

One of the world's most famous cars has flown into the Birmingham Hippodrome this week, in the form of Ian Fleming's spectacular musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Based on the beloved film of the same name, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang sees struggling inventor Caractacus Potts swept away on an extraordinary adventure with his children, Jeremy and Jemima, and the beautiful Truly Scrumptious. 

?Adam Garcia has today announced that unfortunately, due to ongoing issues relating to the injury he suffered whilst performing on stage, he has had to withdraw from the remainder of the Australian tour of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN.

The excitement is building for the Brisbane season of the splash-hit West End stage production SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, opening from 22 September 2016 at Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC) Lyric Theatre.

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN is a marvellous blend of singing, dancing, celluloid snippets and 12,000 litres of recycled water.

The RSC's hugely acclaimed 2014 pairing of Love's Labour's Lost and Much Ado About Nothing (or Love's Labour's Won) arrives in London this Christmas, following runs at Chichester Festival Theatre and Manchester Opera House. From 9 December 2016 to 18 March 2017, Edward Bennett and Lisa Dillon will delight audiences at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in Christopher Luscombe's elegant, effervescent productions.

Claire Sweeney will play the role of Baroness Bomburst in Music & Lyrics and West Yorkshire Playhouse's production of the much-loved Sherman Brothers musical CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, from Wednesday 3 August 2016.  The production is touring across the UK and Ireland until February 2017. Michelle Collins, who currently plays Baroness Bomburst, leaves the production on 30 July 2016.

From August 3, Claire Sweeney will play the role of Baroness Bomburst in Music & Lyrics and West Yorkshire Playhouse's production of the much-loved Sherman Brothers musical CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. The production is touring across the UK and Ireland until February 2017. Michelle Collins, who currently plays Baroness Bomburst, leaves the production on July 30.

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye reports that Bryan Dick has withdrawn from Chichester Festival's upcoming production of HALF A SIXPENCE, adapted by DOWNTON ABBEY creator Julian Fellowes, and will instead remain with the company of HOBSON'S CHOICE for its upcoming West End run.
