Parallel Productions present their official Gala Launch. A fusion of cabaret and concert, musical theatre and acoustic arrangements, the night will host a cast of established musical theatre performers, alongside some new talent, singing stripped back acoustic versions of musical theatre songs. The Launch will be held at the Battersea Barge, at 8pm on Wednesday 4th September.

The sixth Singers Soiree charity concert has announced its transfer from Battersea Barge to the St Giles-in-the-Fields church, just off of Tottenham Court Road on 6 September. Not only does this new venue offer a much more central location but it also boats a seating capacity of more than 10 times the previous venue (moving from 70 to 700 seats).

On August 4th, acclaimed composer and lyricist Scott Alan wil return for his biggest concert yet at the IndigO2 Theatre Arena at the O2. The 7pm concert, produced by Amzi Entertainment, will feature a 15 piece orchestra and feature song selections from Alan's four albums, 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' 'Keys,' 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' and 'LIVE.' How does one write about a work of art? Cameron Macintosh's touring production of The Phantom of the Opera is exactly that and brought the house down at the Birmingham Hippodrome last night. The 19th March is apt for the final press night of the current tour as the show is also marking it's 11,000th performance in the West End. That itself shows the incredible draw that Phantom has some 27 years on.

Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group announced earlier today that their spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera will launch a North American tour beginning this November in Providence, R.I at the Providence Performing Arts Center. With newly reinvented staging and stunning scenic design, this new version of PHANTOM, the most successful musical of all-time, will play more than 20 multi-week engagements through next year, including Cincinnati, OH and Minneapolis, MN. A complete tour schedule will be announced in the coming weeks. In addition to this, he has somehow been able to find the time in his busy schedule to record this beautifully intimate album Looking Up.
